Dunkery Class
Welcome to Dunkery Class!
Our day starts at 8.4am and finishes at 3.15pm
PE is every Friday - please wear full PE kit to school.
Outdoor Learning is every Tuesday - (bring wellies!)
Please make sure book bags are bought into school each day.
A water proof coat and a drinks bottle (with water only) are also essential.
Art Week
As well as developing our drawing skills with pens and pencils, this week we had our first go at doing some digital drawings. There were some mixed evaluations for this way of working but we certainly all enjoyed giving it a go!

Year 5 Science
In science we have been learning about gears and pulleys. This week we used lego to see if we could create our own gear and pulley systems and watch them in action.
Maya Pyramids
This week we were challenged to build our own models of the Maya pyramids from different materials. They were very different to those built by the Egyptians so we had to be very resilient and think carefully about construction.
