Friday 19th July
The whole school will be running over a mile (at a chosen pace) to raise money for Cancer Research UK as part of our Race for Life event. The first group of children will set off at 2.00pm. Children will be running in mixed aged groups with KS2 children supporting KS1 children.
We would love parents and families to come along to watch and cheer the children on as they complete their laps around our amazing school grounds. We are hoping to provide a refreshment stall for parents and families, so we would love any parents helpers who could offer any help with this through the afternoon. Please email Sports@southmoltonprimary.devon.sch.uk if you are available to help.
Children will need:
To wear any sporty clothes with trainers into school
Apply sun cream before school
Wear a sun hat
To have water bottles in school
Collect sponsorship money and hand it in to the office before or on the day if possible or use our online giving page:
All sponsorship fundraising will go to Cancer Research UK
Staff will be joining in! Spectators are welcome.
